Paraquat is an extremely poisonous (to humans if swallowed)
herbicide. It is quick-acting, non-selective, and kills
green plant tissue on contact. You spray it on weeds, plants, etc. they die. Like Agent Orange but with an even more mysterious name.
President Nixon thought it would be just grand to fly over the Mexican marijuana fields and spray Paraquat on the plants to
kill them before they could reach US shores. Even the Mexican government went along with it - right after the payday. So what
do you think happened? That’s right the Mexican pot growers bailed it up and shipped it to Texas anyway! We all smoked it! You got the initial high then it kept
right on going into your lymph nodes and on to your delicate nervous system. All for $10 a bag! Surprisingly weed from Columbia and elsewhere began to be more predominant in Texas.
